Landmark Wholesale win 5 Gold's at FWD Awards

The Landmark Wholesale Group picked up five prestigious Awards at the Federation of Wholesale Distributors' Annual Dinner held at Old Billingsgate, London on Thursday 24th November.

 

The Young Wholesaler of the Year Gold Medal was awarded to Tammy Walker of A G Parfett and Sons, Sheffield. Blakemore Wholesale won the Gold Medal for Wholesale Service to Retailers and also won a second Gold on the night, Doug Watt of A F Blakemore Wholesale, Gateshead picked up the Cash and Carry Depot Manager of the Year - Independent Gold Medal. John Forteith of Forteith Foodservice won the Gold Medal for Delivered Depot Manager of the Year for Independents and the fifth Award of the evening, the Gold Medal Special Achievement Award for Services to Industry was presented to the Parfett Family (Alan, Steve and Robert).
Introducing the awards, FWD Chief Executive James Bielby said, “These Awards aren’t about Senior Executives maximising profits; they’re about every single member of a team pulling together, and those individuals whose dedication and enthusiasm raises the game of those around them. Our winners tonight are stars in their field and we are very proud to welcome them here, to see their efforts recognised in front of so many of their Industry Colleagues.”
Landmark Wholesale’s Managing Director, Martin Williams said that he was absolutely delighted, “We won four Awards last year which I thought was unbeatable, five is just fantastic These Awards acknowledge the excellence of the Landmark Wholesale Group. Huge congratulations to Tammy, Doug, John, Blakemore Wholesale and Alan, Steve and Robert on their outstanding achievements.”
