Happy Christmas for Landmark Wholesale

The Christmas Trading period wasn't all doom and gloom; Landmark Wholesale posted a December sales increase of 5.5% for the Group (with some Members still to post results) compared with December 2010 and Own Brand sales into Depots rose by 27.9%.

 

Highlights of Landmark Wholesale Member’s performance include DCS Group who recorded their second biggest Trading month ever in November 2011 and this momentum continued through December with sales 15% up on the previous year. New Member, Country Range Group also saw sales rise by 15% over the Christmas period; Frozen Food sales at L&F Jones rose by 33.86% and Fresh Meat by 20.58%; and Wine & Spirits sales at AG Parfett & Sons were up by 18%. 
Business Development Director, Chris Doyle said, “The Christmas results are very encouraging, particularly when compared with figures coming from the Major Multiples and given the continuing economic climate; it’s great to hear good news coming from the Independent Sector.”
